A 2007 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, Dr. Renée spent over ten years in general and emergency practice in southern Maine. She continues to pursue additional training such as:

When she is not busy learning, Dr Renée enjoys hiking, swimming in the cold Maine ocean, and snowshoeing with her dogs. She lives in southern Maine with her family, which currently includes her husband, two dogs and one human child.

“I started Twilight, Quality of Life Vet Care after years of being frustrated that I couldn’t do more for my older, chronically ill patients while working in a general practice. There simply wasn’t enough time in a 20- or 30-minute appointment slot to discuss quality of life issues or all the options for treatment of any given disease (and many of our pets have more than one).

During our relaxed and thorough in-home visits, I provide a comprehensive overview of your pet’s quality of life. I focus on your pet’s disease process, the temperament of your pet, the financial costs of treatment, and the goals of your individual family. Overall, I aim to maximize the quality of life of your pet and family, and help you as pet-parents face end-of-life decisions with grace and peace. I look forward to working with you and your family.” — Dr. Renée
