Initial In-home Hospice/Palliative Care Consult $350

This 90-minute in-person visit is the ideal way for us to get to know your pet and family. We will review your pet’s current medical records and your answers to a questionnaire beforehand; during the visit, we will complete a thorough physical exam, discuss specifics of your pet’s disease process, and options for care going forward. We will help you evaluate your pet’s quality of life, and if applicable, help you make end-of-life decisions. As a team, we will develop an in-depth care plan that takes into account your pet’s and family’s preferences, needs, and goals of care.

Initial In-home Pain Management Consult $250

This 60-minute appointment focuses on improving your pet’s comfort and mobility — at any age! After a thorough physical exam (including orthopedic, neurologic and myofascial evaluations), we will use a combination of traditional medications, acupuncture and physical rehabilitation techniques to get your pet moving better.

In-Home Recheck $150

These 45-minute recheck appointments allow Dr Renee to evaluate your pet’s response to treatment and adjust the care plan as needed. Repeat acupuncture visits fall into this category too. These appointments can be booked online, but are only appropriate for established clients. In-Home Sick Visit $200

These 60-minute visits are appropriate for established patients that have developed a new problem since our last visit. Please email frontdesk@twilightvet.com or call (207) 809-9626 to explain what is going on, and we will do our best to accommodate urgent needs as our schedule allows.

In-Home Euthanasia

We offer non-emergency in-home euthanasia only to our current patient families. We will treat your pet with dignity and compassion through all stages of end-of-life care. This service is generally available during regular business hours, but weekend and evening appointments are sometimes available (subject to an after-hours fee). We are primarily a pain management and palliative care practice, so please understand that we will not be able to schedule a euthanasia unless your pet is currently our patient.
